RIGL 40-6-8

Purpose and Reason:

Policy revision to clarify that the 185% gross income level is used solely to determine eligibility for a TANF-funded services and not eligibility for SNAP benefits. Also clarified that households that are categorically eligible households due to receipt of a TANF-funded service must meet the net income in order to determine benefit amount. However, one and two person households that are categorically eligible do not have to meet the net income standard in order to be eligible for the minimum monthly benefit. Revision to Section 1008.20.15.05 removing an outdated example.
